Why High End Hockey Advising?

Because we've been there.

As players, we've played in games when we knew we were "on" that night. We competed our hardest, won puck battles, won races to loose pucks, blocked shots, dished out solid bodychecks, and made plays that resulted in assists or goals, and what did we do while we sat on the bench waiting for that next shift? Well, other than watch the game, we scanned the stands to see who was watching. We looked for the jackets with team emblems thinking, "I hope someone sees me and likes me. I have to play at the next level."

We also know what it is like to be a hockey parent.

As a parent, you know how passionate your player is about the game, and because he/she is, you have devoted just about all of your free time driving to rinks throughout North America. You've spent countless hours sitting in the stands, keeping your hands warm with a hot cup of coffee or hot chocolate, cheering for your son/daughter, vicariously feeling the pain of each mistake and the joys of every triumph. We have experienced those same emotions and yes, we have also scanned the stands hoping to see a coach and/or a scout who will be impressed with your athlete.

We've been there.

At High End Hockey Advising, we take that "hope" out of the equation by speaking with those coaches and scouts about your hockey player. Sometimes, they are familiar with him/her, other times, not so much and that is okay because, in each scenario, that is when we go to work and give the coach our scouting report with the emphasis on why that player will be a great fit for his organization or school on and off the ice. Loaded with that information, the coach/scout will watch the player and give his feedback to us. If it is favorable, we get the ball rolling on the next step in the player's hockey future. Conversely, in cases where the coach does not believe his program and the player would be able to work together, we simply say, "Thank you" and move onto the next team where we believe our client will achieve success.
